Tim Burton is finally gearing up to get into production on Dark Shadows, his adaptation of a kitschy daytime soap about vampires, time travel and other bizarre plot contrivances that has proven to be a long time coming.

When the new fourth series of “Torchwood” is completed, creator and producer Russell T. Davies says he may walk away from the show.

William Shatner and Amanda Tapping team up for animated web series. At an on-stage interview about that Star Trek‘s William Shatner did with Stargate‘s Amanda Tapping at Comic-Con. The two joked that they should do a show together. And now they’re doing a show together. (guess we should look forward to Shatner on Sanctuary)

At the SFX Weekender Sir Terry Pratchett announced that Good Omens is going to be made into a four part TV series.

NASA’s Latest Finds Raise Odds of Life Out There – According to results announced this week, scientists have identified 54 planets in what they call the “habitable zone,” far enough from their local sun not to get fried, yet close enough for life to be “solar-powered,” as it is here on Earth.
