We all can use the shot in the arm. It’s also a great reminder to me why I have the type of autograph book that I do. It’s not about just getting the signatures, it’s about my love for my fandoms and the ability to sit down at a table and put pencil to paper for the culimation of something that gives me a sense of accomplishment and wonder. Mr. Perez is such a great artist, that it does my heart good to see him transform the blank page into something that can be a treasure. I don’t know if I’m describing it with enough ferver here, but it makes me realize that just the con pieces I do aren’t enough. They are still my pride and joy, but there is so much more I can do. People have told me so a long time, but seeing it in front of me is a whole different matter entirely. It’s like it all clicked together with that one lynch pin. And so it is, another con, another perspective, and another great time had!

A big big BIG thank you to both you and Mr. Perez for the Amazonian wall art. It’s a great reminder for me of what an immensely talented writer/artist can do with an underappreciated character. In this case, it was one who desperately needed that shot of greatness at that particular time in history.

I wish I had gone to see Episode I in 3D, but I missed it unfortunately. I was hoping to see the rest and watch the progressions of better 3D renderings. Hopefully this won’t completely derail them. It doesn’t sound like it will, but I don’t want it to go the way of Shadows of the Empire either.
