Review: Doctor Who: ...

This years’ Doctor Who Christmas special, The Snowmen, was an exciting fun fairy tale romp of an adventure.  The Doctor has been in a self imposed exile living in London in 1892.  He has parked the TARDIS in the clouds and has an invisible staircase and ladder leading up to it.  Lady...

Neil Gaiman Doctor Who Episode Will Have Cybermen!

Back in August I posted a rumor about Neil Gaiman writing an episode for series 7 of Doctor Who where in he would re-imagine the Cybermen.  To make a long story short, nothing could be found other than the rumor, then Gaiman said in an interview that he wasn’t writing it.  After that in his Hugo acceptance speech he said that he was in the third draft of a Doctor Who episode. The interwebs and Twittershpere exploded with excitement and speculation.  Would  Mr. Gaiman’s episode be in series 7 or series 8 as they were already filming series 7? The answer came a couple of weeks ago when Doctor Who Magazine listed the names of...

Let me start off by saying that I really enjoyed The Angels Take Manhattan.  The Angels were back on form, shooting people back in time to feed off the temporal energy released.  Written by Steven Moffat and beautifully directed by Nick Hurran.  It again had that big budget movie feeling,...

A Town Called Mercy written by Toby Whithouse (Being Human, The God Complex), is about a town in the Wild West that has come under siege from an alien cyborg intruder.  The Gunslinger as the town folk call him doesn’t allow any one out of the town or any supplies into the town.  But all...

Review: Doctor Who: ...

I was pretty rough on last week’s episode “Asylum of the Daleks,” but when you have an episode like that, especially when you tout the return of every Dalek model ever seen on screen, then it should be continuity heavy and laden with tons of fanwank.  It fell woefully short of...

Apparently there was another prequel to Doctor Who: Asylum of the Daleks.  It was only available to season subscribers on iTunes and Amazon in America.  It has now been released into the wilds of the YouTubes and Interwebs.  I can only assume that it will be included on the DVD/Blu-rays....

Editorial: Doctors, ...

Much like the rest of my co-hosts, last night I watched the premiere of Doctor Who. I guess that should come as no surprise to anybody, especially since I’ve been a fan of the Doctor since I was around 12 years old. That old blue box and the Doctor have seen so many different aliens and...

Well, the first episode of series 7/33 of Doctor Who has aired.  While it was an enjoyable watch as always, I did have a few problems with it. *****SPOILERS***** I still don’t buy that the Daleks wouldn’t just destroy any damaged or insane Daleks. I’ve seen them destroy other Daleks...
