At San Diego Comic-Con Karen Gillan confirmed to Zap2It that she will be returning as Amy Pond in Season 7/33 of Doctor Who. She later reiterated this at the Doctor Who panel at Comic-Con. This will make Amy Pond the longest running Companion of the Doctor since the series returned in 2005.
