The big day has finally come November 7th 2000!  No, not election day something much more important, at least to us Transformers fans.  Now we can finally own a copy of Transformers The Movie on something other than the old VHS stand by.  I myself have worn out 2 VHS copies of this outstanding example of animation.  The only problem that I have with this DVD is for some unknown reason they did not include the original wide screen edition of the movie, only the hacked up version to fit a regular TV screen.  They did however include an interview with composer Vince DiCola, as well as several screen shots of many of the original storyboards for the movie.  Rhino also made this the completely unedited version of the movie, that's right TF fans this is the first time since it was originally shown in the theaters that both curse words have been included in the movie.  Which makes me wonder even more why they didn't include the wide screen theatrical version, but I've harped on that too much.  This DVD is a definite buy.
