Default Universe not the answer...

Stargate Universe is ok .. But, they need a back to the roots show again.. They should skip 50 or 100 years in earth future and start again..

I dunno.. maybe not a trip into the future, really, but they definately NEED a consistant baddie. Perhaps it would help if they managed to figure out anything remotely useful about the ship?

Or the ever-popular, "It must be reacting to the Ancient gene!"

What you don't like the show being completely random and the humans having no control whatsoever? What about all the plot holes that they just leave dangling around? Like how did they get out of that time loop episode where everyone kept dying on that planet and they had all that contaminated water?

Ah, you must have missed the part where they explained all that! Seems there was a glitch in the Life Support system, and they'd all been suffering from mild anoxia, which led to the nightmare of the bad water and time travelling, and since they were all emotionally bound together on the ship, and part of it was malfunctioning and broadcasting a neural link to them all, that's why it ended abruptly when one of them managed to wake up.

(Or I could be bullshyting here, and just as confused as everyone else.)
