Default Cloudy with a Chance of Meetballs

I just finished watching this movie and have to say that it was one of the funniest things I have seen lately. I mean its got James Caan, Mr. T, and Bruce Campbell, how can it not be funny. Also Neil Patrick Harris as Steve is pure comedic gold! Throw in Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Andy Samberg, and even Al Roker and you've got an all-star ensemble cast.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is about a scientist that decides to combat a food shortage by creating a machine that makes food from water, this or course goes horribly wrong and runs out of control eventually threatening to destroy the world, and hilarity ensues. As to why anyone would want to solve a food shortage by creating a water shortage is beyond me, but once you get past that this is a very enjoyable movie for people of all ages.

I wasn't going to see this, but Bruce and NPH in the same film? That's genius!

Yes, in fact, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is very funny, but it has some things that shouldn't be in a PG film.

Ratings have never meant a whole lot. It took eyeball soup, chilled monkey brains, and ripping people's still-beating hearts of their chest before PG-13 came about. Before that, people's hands and arms were getting amputated right and left...mostly right, and Nazis melted. I'm curious though, what was too strong for PG in this film?

One of Chicken Brent's lines when he's fighting abunch of man-eating chickens.

That must have been some line. Guess I'll find out when Netflix brings it to me.
