Vader BPD Diagnosis Disputed

You've all probably heard by now that some French doctors declared Darth Vader had 6 of the 9 symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder, and it only takes 5 for diagnosis.

An expert on BPD completely deconstructs the diagnosis and declares "But it's not true: Vader is no more a borderline than he is a ballerina."

Legion

I finally got around to watching Legion last night. While watching, I thought it was a pretty fun base under seige movie with some good action in it. I did keep expecting that they would actually explain some of what was going on. They tried to explain some of the story line, but none of the explanations were very good, and left a lot out. It almost feels like you missed the first half hour of the movie that sets the story up, and they just throw you in the middle of it.

After the movie was over and I had a little time to think about it, I realized why it had apealed to me. I had seen it before, in two separate movies, and done better in both.

The first two thirds of the movie was basically a base under seige movie, and was essentially Dawn of the Dead, or any number of Zombie movies.

The last Third of the movie, once the Angel Gabriel shows up, is basically Terminator.

If you just want a fun action packed base under siege movie to watch, and don't care about the plot or story making any sense, then Legion is for you.

That being said I do like they way that the Angels were portrayed, as brutal unstopable warriors, that would do anything to complete their orders. They even had a kind of martial art that the Angels used when fighting that incoporated their wings. The Angel's wings were bullet proof and razor sharp. For me the only real reason to watch Legion is to see the battle between Michael and Gabriel.

Paranormal Activity 2 Trailer, Really?

I heard on the radio on my way home tonight, that people have been complainting and getting theaters to pull the Paranormal Activity 2 Trailer. This trailer is apparently so terrifying that it had to be pulled from the theaters, it is running before the new Twilight Eclipse movie. So I obviously had to take a look at this it when I got home. I was horibly disappointed at how dull this trailer was, its only 1minute and 13 seconds long, and I almost dozed off during it. I can't possibly see how this is scaring people, especially since the bulk of Twilight fans are teenagers maybe as young as tweens. I guess the world has changed a lot since I was younger, I can remember when Vampires and Werewolves were the bad guys and tore people to shreds, they certainly didn't sparkle. Maybe we shoudl start calling the Twihards, Twiflights because apparently they run screaming anytime someone walks into a dark room. I'll get off my old man soap box now and let you be the judge of how scary this Paranormal Activity 2 trailer is.
